I'm Rebecca Lyon, an Australian surface pattern design artist ,based in the beautiful eastern suburbs of Melbourne.

I’m passionate about creating bold, modern art that brings joy, energy, and colour to everyday life.  My designs are more than just visuals , they’re an invitation to pause, smile, and reconnect with the beauty around and within us.

Inspired by nature and the quiet wonder in ordinary moments – from sun-drenched coastlines and misty mountains to blooming flowers, juicy fruits,  my work captures fleeting feelings of wonder, nostalgia, and serenity.  Whether it’s a cherished holiday memory or the delicate scent of a favourite rose, I strive to turn these small yet powerful moments into art that uplifts and delights.

Surface pattern design holds a special place in my heart because it brings art and functionality together. I love the idea that my art can live on everyday items – transforming the ordinary into something beautiful, personal, and full of meaning.
